Charter Home School Academy is the perfect fit for select students. You will know that they are a fit if: 

  1. You have 3.5-5 hours a day to guide them in their education (this is not independent study; it is homeschooling).
  2. You are able to bring them to their academic class (once a week), and their teacher meeting (once a week).
  3. You are excited to be your student's teacher.

As the 2018-2019 school year reaches completion, my husband and I wanted to thank each and every CHSA staff member for their dedication and support of our son.  

When enrolling our son in Charter Homeschool Academy (CHSA) last September, both Luke and I were beyond frustrated with his previous academic experiences. And although he had been enrolled in a religious private school; our son was unfairly labeled, misunderstood, and his talents overlooked. Quite frankly, we were disillusioned in the traditional educational approaches. However, our prayers were quickly answered. The warm and welcoming energy of CHSA instantly put our minds at ease. From the first phone conservation inquiring about CHSA, to the our facility tour with Mrs. Moor, the principal; we regained hope that our son wasn’t going to be just another kid “who fell through the cracks”.

Over the past several months, CHSA has not disappointed. As his parents, we are confident that our son is being given the opportunity to thrive. His maturity and growth as a student is a direct result of the compassionate and student-focused professionals that work there. The educational bond developed between teacher, student, and parent allows for a more holistic approach to learning that truly creates a student-centered success plan.  We are truly blessed to have such a unique option for educating our son. Luke and I cannot thank you enough for having the understanding that not every child learns in a traditional style or environment. Many schools claim to educate students uniquely, but unfortunately most academic institutions fall short of actually meeting students’ individual needs. When starting CHSA, we had serious doubts about our skills to teach Houston at home; but the comprehensive support we receive as a CHSA family grants us the opportunity to educate Houston well beyond the “standards”.

Again, we thank each and every CHSA staff member for working to create a quality school. This school is more than educational institution to our family, it is a community that collaboratively works together to celebrate diverse learners. Way to go CHSA!
